Hiker Registration

Planning a hike on the Northern Colorado Trail?
Whether you're setting out to thru-hike the full route or just exploring a section, registering your hike helps us better understand how the trail is being used throughout the season.

Registration is optional, but it's a meaningful way to support the trail’s future. It provides insight into trail use, informs long-term planning efforts, and allows us to share occasional updates relevant to your hike.

Registered hikers will also receive access to the Trail Angel List — a directory of individuals along the route who’ve volunteered to support NOCO hikers with things like rides, lodging, or local information. A copy of the list will be sent to the email you provide when registering.

All personal information is kept private unless you've given us permission to share it. Only aggregated data is used for reporting and planning.

Hiker Registration 2025

All personal information will be kept private unless we have received written consent from you. We may use some of the information you provide—such as hike start dates or route choices—to create general trail statistics. These statistics will be shared publicly to help future hikers and support trail planning, but they will never include names or any personal details.
